Abstract

Zusammenfassung Bei der Frage nach den Grundbegriffen der Geometrie geht es zunächst um den Gegensatz von traditionellen Gegenstandsbegriffen und axiomatisch fundierten Relationsbegriffen. Die Suche nach Grundvorstellungen der Geometrie gestaltet sich schwierig, aber interpretierbar. Zusätzlich spielen Nutzungen der Geometrie eine zentrale Rolle bei Entscheidungen über den Geometrie-Unterricht. Ein kurzer Blick auf die gegenwärtige curriculare Situation des Geometrie-Unterrichts schließt den Beitrag.
