Abstract

Zusammenfassung Von einem „war for talents“ kann heutzutage kaum noch die Rede sein – der Bewerbermarkt hat sich inzwischen zu einem „war for employees“ entwickelt. Dies ist begründet durch den technologischen Fortschritt und die damit verbundene Transparenz der Stellenangebote (Jobsuchmaschinen, Social Media-Empfehlungen etc.) in Kombination mit der starken Fokussierung vieler Unternehmen auf Recruiting und Employer Branding (siehe hierzu auch Teil 2 des Buches und die dazugehörigen Innovationen). Nicht nur in solchen Berufsbildern wie Programmierer, bei denen zum Teil ein Fachkräftemangel herrscht, sollten Unternehmen alles daran setzen, gute Mitarbeiter zu halten. Mitarbeiterbindung als Antwort auf verstärkte Recruitingtätigkeiten und Bedarfe nach Know-how anderer Unternehmen ist essentiell im unternehmerischen Wettbewerb.
