Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Entwicklung von nachhaltigen Bauprojekten gewinnt angesichts globaler Herausforderungen, wie Klimawandel und Ressourcenknappheit, stetig an Bedeutung. Das Kapitel beleuchtet die Relevanz und Anforderungen nachhaltigen Bauens in Bezug auf die Projektentwicklung, die Implementierung von Nachhaltigkeitsstrategien sowie die rechtliche Verankerung und wirtschaftliche Betrachtung. Es wird aufgezeigt, wie nachhaltige Projektentwicklung zur Risikominimierung und Resilienz beiträgt und welche Synergieeffekte entstehen können. Zudem wird die Abwägung zwischen Bestandsentwicklung und Ersatzneubau diskutiert, wobei die ökologischen und ökonomischen Vorteile der Weiternutzung bestehender Strukturen hervorgehoben werden. Abschließend wird die Bedeutung der Nachhaltigkeit in der Immobilienwirtschaft betont und die Verantwortung der Projektentwickler zur Förderung einer nachhaltigen Transformation des Gebäudesektors unterstrichen.
