Abstract

Zusammenfassung Digitalisierung ist ein Megatrend, der die Projektentwicklungsbranche voll erfasst hat und daher auch in diesem Praxishandbuch nicht fehlen darf. Wir verstehen darunter den gezielten Einsatz digitaler Technologien zur Wertsteigerung durch neue Methoden der Gewinnerzielung oder der Steigerung von Effizienz und Effektivität. Digitalisierung kann beispielsweise durch die Überführung von analogen Informationen in digitale Formate, die Einführung einer Software oder eine Änderung des Geschäftsmodells erfolgen. In diesem Kapitel geht es in erster Linie darum, welche IT-Instrumente an welchen Stellen im Projektentwicklungsprozess eingesetzt werden können, wie man IT-Instrumente auswählt und was zum Thema Datensicherheit zu beachten ist. Ferner wird in diesem Kapitel intensiver auf das Building Information Modelling (BIM) eingegangen.
