Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Elementarmathematik ist noch nicht vollständig aufgebaut, weil sich die für eine empirische Theorie charakteristische ontologische Bindung noch in der Diskussion befindet. In der Arbeit wird diese ontologische Bindung mithilfe der Vergleichstheorie des Messens präzisiert. Größen sind über ihre Träger unmittelbar, Zahlen und die Verknüpfungen Multiplikation und Addition nur mittelbar an die Realität gebunden. Semantische Definitionen, in denen die ontologische Bindung in die Definition mit einbezogen ist, werden für das Messen sowie für Multiplikation und Addition angegeben. Auf der ontologischen Bindung basieren auch die Grundvorstellungen, die für das Messen sowie für die Zahlverknüpfungen formuliert werden. Die Rechengesetze lassen sich auf der Grundlage der semantischen Definitionen formal und auf der Basis der Grundvorstellungen präformal beweisen. Weitere Bestandteile der Elementarmathematik und Forderungen an deren Aufbau werden kursorisch zusammengestellt.
