Abstract

Zusammenfassung Kernpunkt nach der Erstellung von Reports ist deren Analyse. Im Beteiligungscontrolling geht es im Schwerpunkt darum, mittels Kennzahlen die Leistung der Gesellschaften zu messen und daraus Maßnahmen abzuleiten. Kennzahlen sind einmal die so genannten traditionellen wie der Return on Investment (ROI) inklusive dem bekannten Du Pont Kennzahlensystem oder etwa die Eigenkapitalrendite (Return on Equity ROE). Heute wird indessen vor allem mit wertorientierten Kennzahlen gearbeitet (Value Based Management VBM). In den letzten Jahren ist eine Reihe von VBM Konzepten entwickelt worden, angefangen von Economic Value Added (EVA) und Shareholder Value bis zu Cash Value Added (CVA) oder Market Value Added (MVA). Im Kapitel werden die Konzepte erläutert. Die Vor- und Nachteile werden gegenüber gestellt, ihre Brauchbarkeit unter unterschiedlichen Rahmenbedingungen erläutert. Mit dem Value Added per Market (VAPM) wird eine neue Synthese aus bisherigen Ansätzen entwickelt. An einer Reihe von Praxisbeispielen wird gezeigt, wie große und mittlere Unternehmen mit VBM arbeiten.
