Abstract

Zusammenfassung Blicken wir zurück. Wir sind zunächst an die Stelle in der Arbeitsgeschichte getreten, von der aus gesehen Sozialpolitik und Arbeitsrecht als unbestreitbare Tatsachen nach rückwärts vorliegen. Je eherner diese Tatsachen der öffentlichen Verwaltung der Arbeit und ihrer Autonomie feststehen, desto deutlicher wird, daß beide nur bis zum Betrieb herunter reichen. Die Arbeitsgruppe und die Werkstatt leben von anderen ordnenden Kräften, von dem stummen unpersönlichen Befehl der Arbeitsordnung oder dem lauten und persönlichen des Meisters. Hier tun sich neue Möglichkeiten auf, aus technischen und organisatorischen Gründen. Der Sachwertfetischismus gefährdet die Anpassungsfähigkeit der Fabrik im Kampf ums Dasein; die Meisterherrlichkeit ist bedroht. Statt nur immer den leiblichen und politischen Menschen in der Arbeitskraft zu schützen, gilt es, den Verantwortungsträger im Arbeiter freizusetzen.
