Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Flächen konstanten negativen Krümmungsmaßes (vgl. Ziff. 7.8) sind ein besonders ergiebiges Gebiet für die Anwendung differenzengeometrischer Methoden, wobei gewisse ebeneckige Vierecksnetze als Modelle benützt werden [24]. Eine spezielle Drehfläche konstanten negativen Krümmungsmaßes ist die Pseudosphäre, die wir in § 14 kennen lernen werden. Nach ihr bezeichnet man alle Flächen konstanten negativen Krümmungsmaßes kürzer als pseudosphärische Flächen.
