Abstract

Zusammenfassung Es bezeichne P eine beliebige Punktmenge in der Ebene, die im Endlichen gelegen ist. Sie besteht entweder aus einer endlichen Anzahl von Punkten oder aus unendlich vielen Punkten. Im letzteren Falle will ich voraussetzen, daß sie abgeschlossen ist. Außer der Punktmenge P sei nun in der Ebene irgendein Punkt A angenommen. Ich frage: Gibt es in der Ebene einen zweiten Punkt B, der zu jedem einzelnen Punkte der Menge P näher gelegen ist als der Punkt A zu demselben Punkte der Menge? D. h. gibt es einen solchen Punkt B, daß $$\overline p B
