Abstract

Zusammenfassung Den Gegenstand dieser Ausführungen bildet eine kleine Schwierigkeit, welche bei der üblichen Darstellung des Volumenbegriffs als Grundlage der Theorie der vielfachen Integrale auftritt. Ich lege dabei das Riemannsche Integral zugrunde, obgleich sich die Bemerkung auch auf das Lebesguesche bezieht. Ebenso beschränke ich mich im Interesse der Durchsichtigkeit auf zwei Dimensionen, doch besitzen alle Ausführungen für n Dimensionen unveränderte Gültigkeit.
