Abstract

Zusammenfassung In drei früheren Annalenarbeiten1) habe ich einige algebraische und topologische Begriffe und Methoden entwickelt, die der mehrdimensionalen algebraischen Geometrie zugrunde gelegt werden können. Der Zweck der jetzigen Serie von Abhandlungen „Zur algebraischen Geometrie“ ist, die Anwendbarkeit dieser Methoden auf verschiedene algebraisch-geometrische Probleme darzutun. Der Inhalt der ersten beiden unter 1) zitierten Arbeiten, der in der Hauptsache auch in mein Buch „Moderne Algebra“ II, Berlin 1931, Kapitel 13 übergegangen ist, wird immer als bekannt vorausgesetzt, der der dritten Arbeit nur dort, wo topologische Methoden zur Anwendung kommen.
