Abstract

Zusammenfassung Reihen treten bei der Lösung einer Reihe von Problemen in Technik, Natur-und Wirtschaftswissenschaften auf. Endlich Reihen haben wir bereits im Kap.18 kennengelernt. In diesem Kapitel geben wir einen Überblick über die Möglichkeiten von MATLAB bei der Berechnung von unendlichen Reihen: Unendliche Zahlenreihen berechnen wir mittels MATLAB im Abschn.25.1. Potenzreihen als einen Spezialfall von Funktionenreihen haben wir bereits im Abschn.23.2 im Rahmen der Entwicklung von Funktionen in Taylorreihen kennengelernt. Wir fassen die Möglichkeiten von MATLAB bei der Aufstellung derartiger Reihen im Abschn.25.2 zusammen. Fourierreihen als eine weitere Klasse von Funktionenreihen behandeln wir im Abschn.25.3. Sie dienen zur Beschreibung periodischer Vorgänge und gestatten eine direkte technische Interpretation.
