Abstract

Résumé Je me propose, dans cet exposé, de montrer quelques applications possibles de la Topologie à la Linguistique; dans un Colloque consacré—ici, à Genève—à l’oeuvre de topologue de Georges de Rham, on me permettra d’évoquer le souvenir du grand linguiste que fut Ferdinand de Saussure—dont le célèbre Cours de Linguistique, professé à Genève au début du siècle, a marqué-ainsi qu’il est universellement reconnu—la naissance de la Linguistique en tant que science autonome.
