Abstract

In order to resolve the difficulties of existing Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models in evaluation the DMUs’ relative efficiencies, this paper proposed a new interval DEA (IDEA) efficiency set model and studied the evaluation of business performance with interval number factors. By introducing the projection analysis of the efficiency set parameters model, the paper proves the necessary and sufficient condition of IDEA efficiency, IDEA fuzzy efficiency and IDEA non-efficiency. The decision-making of improvements on IDEA fuzzy efficiency and IDEA non-efficiency is obtained as well, which helps to promote the business performance management.
