Preservation Behavior Decision of Fruits and Vegetables Supply Chain

Abstract

The freshness of fruits and vegetables provided by the upstream subject of a fruits and vegetables supply chain will greatly affect its downstream subject’s decision about whether to take preservation technology or not. On the basis of analyzing the iterative relationship of freshness of fruits and vegetables between upstream and downstream of the fruits and vegetables supply chain, this paper formulates a collaborative decision-making model of preservation behavior of the fruits and vegetables supply chain, and indentifies various factors that influence the preservation behavior decision. In the end, it proposes a numerical example to illustrate the practicability and feasibility of the model.
