Dynamic Job-Shop Scheduling Research Based on Rolling Horizon Technology

Abstract

In order to improve the scheduling efficiency and make up for the lack of continuity, a hybrid dynamic scheduling strategy of event-driven and cycle-driven is put forward. Changed-cycle rolling horizon technology is used to realize this strategy. Through researching disturbance factors of workshop, a multi-level strategy including deviation calculation, isolation operation, local update and global update are put forward. According to this strategy, when finds disturbance events, system evaluates events immediately, then a suitable operation is chosen to deal with these events. At last, a scheduling example show that the method is available and effectively.
