Abstract

Issues about agglomeration and specialization of innovative industry have attracted more and more attention. This paper, taking the aerospace industry as the subject, with the panel data regression method, and through calculating its industrial agglomeration index, regional specialization index and DEA-Malmquist productivity index, has studied how industrial agglomeration and regional specialization level influence its growth of productivity. The empirical results show that the aerospace manufacturing industry agglomeration and regional specialization level are important factors to promote its productivity growth.
