Abstract

Analyzed the drawbacks of SMS query software in smartphone at present. In view of users requirements for query short messages in phones, and based on Android kernel and its architecture, highly effective SMS query software is presented. The implementations of the SMS query software is described, which provides a variety of modes of query, such as based on address book, based on contact time, based on current contact and based on content of message. Most current software does not yet have the above query modes for SMS, which should be adopted by many mobile phone software manufacturers in the future.
