Abstract

This paper uses the General Health Questionnaire-28 (GHQ-28) and the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) as a mental health index, and assesses the correlation of α-amylase as an indicator of sympathetic nerve activity and psychological health. Thus, this paper proves that the saliva as a non-invasive physical indicator can be used for evaluation of mental health, and proves its role in the evaluation of children’s mental health. Also this paper provides the principles and methods of the sensor to evaluate children’s mental health.
