Abstract

Business model takes an important role in the performance of any organization in the present digital economy, especially for social networking site. Aside from online advertisement and game, more focus would be paid to deliver differentiated products and services to the specific users for SNS in order to have competitive advantages. A case study from a top Chinese social networking site-Renren.com was examined in terms of its revenue model and its operational mode so as to give a clear implication for future trend of social networking site.
