Abstract

In a comprehensive reorganization project a large number of processes are viewed within a short time and documented in the form of process models. These process models are located at different hierarchy levels and are networked with each other in many ways. They are read not only by their creators, who use them as their daily working basis, but also by many different members of the project team since the effects of adjacent processes often have to be considered in own process modeling. In this situation, a superordinated model is needed that places the existing detailed models in a global context and enables navigation through the processes. These tasks are to be taken over by an organizational frame.
