Abstract

Zusammenfassung Euler, der in langen Berechnungen äußerst gut war, berechnete wahrscheinlich fast so viele Terme. Danach konnte er nicht umhin, festzustellen, dass alle von null verschiedenen Koeffizienten dieser Reihe Einsen mit positiven und negativen Vorzeichen sind und dass sie eine streng vorbestimmte Reihenfolge haben: zwei Einsen, zwei Einsen mit negativen Vorzeichen, zwei Einsen, zwei Einsen mit negativen Vorzeichen usw.
