Abstract

Consulting experience has shown that there are four basic approaches to managing corporate reputation. These resemble the four classic strategies for investing on the stock market. But none of these investment philosophies will suit every company in every situation. Seeking maximum reputational return, without heeding the risks, can lead to empty pockets – and a ruined name. But simply ‘playing it safe’ with reputation ignores the specific challenges of the 21st century. Anyone nowadays seeking to become a reputation millionaire must follow ten golden rules.
