Abstract

The description of nearshore and coastal hydrodynamic is a complex topic. The main aim is to determine the water level and the discharge at a specific given place and time. Reliable mathematical models as well as fast, accurate and robust numerical simulations are important for suitable prediction of the morpho-dynamical evolution of the coasts or the transport of pollutants for instance.
