Functional Type A Posteriori Error Estimates for Maxwell’s Equations

Abstract

In this note, we consider functional type a posteriori error estimation for eddy current and time-harmonic approximations of the Maxwell’s equations. Derivation of an upper bound is presented in both cases. The derived bound for the eddy current case is illustrated in numerical examples.
