Abstract

The use of Web services on the World Wide Web is expanding rapidly, as the need for application-to-application communication and interoperability grows on distributed computing systems. It is essential to find the mechanism that allowing customers and providers to communicate and perform e-commerce transactions in a fluent and precise manner, minimizing the time normally spent in finding useful information, which tends to be quite high. The agent-based computing introduces an important new paradigm for the implementation of distributed applications in an open and dynamically changing environment. We present how agent technology can be used to improve electronic commerce environment based on Web Services. Compare to other electric commerce platform, it has the advantages of stability, efficiency and personality.
