Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Beschreibung der physikalischen Gesetze in der Elektrodynamik ist gegenüber derjenigen in anderen Teilgebieten der Physik durch die große Vielzahl von Darstellungsarten, Gleichungenschreibweisen, Größeneinführungen und Einheitenfestlegungen ausgezeichnet. Hier spiegelt sich die historische Entwicklung in der grundsätzlichen Auffassung von Elektrizität und Magnetismus wider. Zu einer Deutung der oft unstetig erscheinenden Linie in der formalen Beschreibung führt die Untersuchung des parallel laufenden Wandels in der zugrunde gelegten Begriffsbildung
