Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wir haben bereits statistische Verfahren kennengelernt, mit denen die unbekannten Parameter einer Grundgesamtheit auf Stichprobenbasis geschätzt werden können. Wie die Schätzverfahren gehen auch die in diesem Kapitel zu diskutierenden Testverfahren von einer vorliegenden Stichprobe aus. Da jeweils mit Hilfe der Stichprobenergebnisse auf die Grundgesamtheit geschlossen wird, bilden die Testverfahren zusammen mit den Schätzverfahren den Kern der induktiven Statistik. Im Rahmen der statistischen Testverfahren wird die Frage behandelt, wie auf der Basis einer Stichprobe entschieden werden kann, ob bestimmte Hypothesen bzw. Annahmen über die zugrundeliegende Grundgesamtheit richtig oder falsch sind. Betrachten wir dazu ein einführendes Beispiel.
