Abstract

Zusammenfassung Über die Zielsetzungen und die grundsätzliche Anlage des vorliegenden Kapitels wurde bereits weiter oben informiert, so daß an dieser Stelle nur noch einmal die wichtigsten Punkte in Erinnerung gerufen werden sollen. Dazu gehört erstens der Hinweis darauf, daß es im folgenden selbstverständlich nicht um eine umfassende und gleichzeitig bei allen Konzepten ins Detail gehende Betrachtung der Theoriediskussion zur EU gehen kann. Dazu wäre, wie die kurze Zusammenfassung in Kapitel 1.3. deutlich gemacht haben dürfte, eine eigene Monographie notwendig. Die nachfolgenden Ausführungen orientieren sich deswegen so eng wie möglich an den Anliegen der Studie, und das heißt für dieses Kapitel einer Einordnung der Policy-Analyse in den Gesamtkontext der Bemühungen um ein bessere theoretisch-konzeptionelle Erfassung der EU und ein besseres Verständnis der Determinanten ihrer Entwicklung.
