Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Aufsatz hat zwei Ziele. (1.) Er schlägt eine semiotische Konzeption von Medienrealität vor, die sich der traditionellen Entgegensetzung einer “Realität” oder einer kulturspezifischen “Realitätskonzeption” auf der einen Seite und der Fiktion oder Simulation auf der anderen Seite entzieht. (2.) Dieses Konzept wird — in Kritik und Weiterführung eigener Ausführungen (Jäger 1990) — an der Liebe als historisch frühem Prototyp von Medienrealität exemplifiziert.
