Abstract

Zusammenfassung Tabellierte Häufigkeitsverteilungen informieren übersichtlich und umfassend, wie sich die Merkmalsträger einer Gesamtheit auf die Merkmalswerte oder Klassen von Merkmalswerten verteilen. Ein genaues Betrachten der Verteilung läßt deren typische Eigenschaften erkennen. Die typischen Eigenschaften der Häufigkeitsverteilung können mit Hilfe von Kenngrößen, den sogenannten Parametern oder Maßzahlen, ausgedrückt werden. Dabei werden viele Einzelinformationen zu wenigen, aber aussagekräftigen Größen verdichtet.
