Abstract

Zusammenfassung Bei der Planung, Steuerung und Kontrolle des gesamten Betriebsgeschehens sind die Entscheidungsträger in hohem Maße auf Daten angewiesen. Die Daten informieren über Zustände und Entwicklungen innerhalb und außerhalb des Unternehmens. Über die reine Informationsfunktion hinaus dienen die Daten als Argumentationshilfe in Verhandlungen, als Basis für Entscheidungsfmdungen, fir die Erstellung von Vergleichen, fir die Durchfiihiung von Kontrollen, für die Abgabe von Prognosen etc. Diese Funktionen erfüllen die Daten zum einen als solche in ihrer ursprünglichen Form, zum anderen in verarbeiteter Form, d.h. nach ihrer Auswertung und Analyse.
