Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Begriff „Kapitalmarkt“ bzw. „Finanzmarkt“ bezeichnet die verschiedenen Märkte. deren Hauptaufgabe eine effektive Allokation von Kapitalangebot und -nachfrage aller Wirtschaftssubjekte auf aggregierter Ebene ist. Je nach Untersuchungsgegenstand lassen sich verschiedene (Teil-)Märkte unterscheiden. So ist eine Differenzierung nach Art der Wertpapiere zwischen dem Aktien- und Rentenmarkt oder nach Art der zeitlichen Vertragserfüllung zwischen Kassa- und Terminmarkt möglich. Eine weitere gängige Unterscheidung besteht zwischen der Kapitalaufbringungsfunktion und der Kapitalbewertungsfunktion. Als Primärmarkt bezeichnet man hierbei jene Märkte, auf denen Finanzmittel erstmalig von Kapitalanbietern angeboten und von Kapitalnachfragern übernommen werden. Unter Sekundärmarkt versteht man den Markt, auf dem die bereits emittierten Finanztitel gehandelt werden. Anleger können hier ihre im Portefeuille befindlichen Finanztitel ihren Zielvorstellungen entsprechend umschichten.
