Abstract

Zusammenfassung Rosen sind wunderschöne Blumen. Obwohl sie in Mitteleuropa zunächst als Heilpflanze eingeführt wurde, zum Beispiel als Zutat zu Heilsalben, verschönert sie seit dem 10. Jahrhundert als Zierpflanze unsere Gärten. Doch wer die Schönheit und den Duft der Rosen genießen will, muß auch ihre Dornen in Kauf nehmen. Ob die rosafarbene Heckenrose, die rote Damaszenerrose oder die gelbliche Teerose, sie alle verfügen über Dornen, die einen vorsichtigen Umgamg mit ihnen nahelegen.
