Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wir alle fühlen uns dem Fortschritt verpflichtet. Das Fortschreiten in aufsteigender Linie von einem bestimmten Zustand zu einem besseren Zustand ist unser Lebensinhalt und unsere Lebensphilosophie. Das Zeitalter der Aufklärung mit seinem Glauben an die Selbstvervollkommnung des Menschen hat hieran einen wesentlichen Anteil. Die Menschheit scheint sich auf ein bestimmtes Ziel hin zu bewegen. Die Evolutionstheorie stützt diese These von seiten der Naturwissenschaften.
