Abstract

Zusammenfassung Eine der großen Stärken des Systems-Engineering-Ansatzes besteht darin, komplexe technische Systeme in ihre Komponenten zerlegen zu können, in ihre Subsysteme, die jedes für sich durch Spezialisten eigenständig entwickelt werden können, solange sie die genau definierten Schnittstellen und Wechselbeziehungen zu den anderen Subsystemen des Gesamtsystems einhalten. So ist die Entwicklung von Automobilen in einer Weise organisiert, dass eine Entwicklungsabteilung sich mit der Weiterentwicklung von Motoren beschäftigt, eine weitere mit der der Kraftübertragung auf die Räder, eine andere mit der der Elektronik usw. Jede dieser Entwicklungsabteilungen unterteilt ihr jeweiliges Subsystem wiederum in Sub-Sub-Systeme, die der Motorenentwicklung zum Beispiel in die des Vergaser- und Einspritzsystems, des Zündsystems, des Kühlsystems usw.
