Mobiles Internet — ein System aus Netz, Diensten und Inhalten

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der öffentliche Mobilfunk begann in Deutschland in der Zeit von 1958 bis 1977 mit dem A-Netz, das 1972 bis 1994 durch das B-Netz ergänzt wurde. Obwohl es sich um öffentliche Systeme handelte, betrug die maximale Kundenanzahl wenige 10.000 Teilnehmer. Ab 1986 wurde das C-Netz aufgebaut. Es hatte eine maximale Kapazität von ca. 800.000 Teilnehmer und leitete damit den mobilen Massendienst ein. Wie auch bei dem Nachfolgesystem, den D-Netzen (realisiert durch die sogenannte GSM-Systemtechnik — Global System for Mobile Communications), hat das C-Netz das Bedürfnis der Kunden für „mobilisierte“ Sprache, d.h. jederzeit und unabhängig vom Standort anrufen zu können und angerufen zu werden, erfolgreich befriedigt.
