Abstract

From 1908 to 1914 is when the Circolo Matematico di Palermo and the Rendiconti experienced their maximum splendor. The society became the largest mathematical society in the world in 1914, and the journal acquired high international prestige by publishing first-rate results. The peak of this process was the celebration in 1914 of the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the mathematical society.
