Abstract

We consider monomials, built from elements of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi- Maskawa matrix, that are invariant upon phase transformation of the quark fields. We obtain a general form of such monomials and demonstrate that they can be expressed as a product of a small number of fundamental rephasing invariant monomials. The results of this paper can lead to a simplification of the renormalization group equations and be helpful in calculations of cross sections and Feynman diagrams in the Standard Model.
