Elliptic Functions

Abstract

We prove five identities for elliptic functions that provide access to a vast number of identities for theta functions. Two examples, that have applications to number theory, are worked out in detail. Properties of Weierstrass, Jacobi, and Dixon elliptic functions are developed from the point of view of q-series.
