Abstract

Zusammenfassung Auf den 30. März 1926 trat für Weyl insofern eine bedeutende Änderung ein, als der bisherige Präsident des Schulrates, Robert Gnehm, mit dem sich Weyl ausgezeichnet verstanden hatte, auf dieses Datum seinen Rücktritt beantragte. Ein im Spätherbst 1925 aufgetretener Bronchialkatarrh hatte sich zu einer chronischen Influenza-Lungenentzündung entwickelt und Gnehm von Mitte Dezember an ans Krankenlager gebunden. Von dieser Krankheit sollte er sich nicht mehr erholen. Am 4. Juni 1926 ist er nach schwerstem Leiden gestorben. Nachfolger wurde der damalige Rektor Rohn.
