Abstract

Zusammenfassung Zur Untersuchung von Differentialgleichungen verwendet man Methoden aller Gebiete der Mathematik. In diesem Kapitel werden spezielle Gleichungen und Typen von Gleichungen behandelt. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit wird dabei einerseits auf die Bedeutung der zu untersuchenden Gleichungen für Anwendungen und andererseits auf den Zusammenhang mit verschiedenen allgemein-mathematischen Fragen gelenkt (Auflösung von Singularitäten, Newton-Diagramme, Liesche Symmetriegruppen usw.). Das Kapitel endet mit der elementaren Theorie der zeitfreien Schrödinger-Gleichung und der geometrischen Theorie der Gleichungen zweiter Ordnung.
