Über die Schröter’sche Konstruktion der ebenen Kurven dritter Ordnung

Abstract

Zusammenfassung In einer Vorlesung über die Anwendungen der elliptischen Funktionen habe ich kürzlich auch die ebenso einfache wie elegante Konstruktion der Kurven dritter Ordnung behandelt, welche Sie in Ihrem Aufsatze „Über eine besondere Kurve dritter Ordnung und eine allgemeine Erzeugungsart der allgemeinen Kurve dritter Ordnung“ (Mathem. Annalen, Bd. 5, 1872, S. 50–82) angegeben und neuerdings Ihrem Buche „Die Theorie der ebenen Kurven dritter Ordnung“ (Leipzig 1888) zugrunde gelegt haben. Dabei bin ich zu einigen Bemerkungen geführt worden, welche vielleicht nicht ohne Interesse sind, und welche ich mir deshalb erlaube, Ihnen im folgenden mitzuteilen. Gestatten Sie jedoch, dass ich meinen Bemerkungen, der leichteren Darstellung wegen, eine kurze Schilderung Ihrer Konstruktion vorauf schicke!
