Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im Verlauf e einer Korrespondenz mit Herrn E.Landau, die sich auf seine schönen neueren Untersuchungen über Potenzreihen1) bezog, wurde ich auf den gleichen Satz geführt, den Herr S. Kakeya2) im Tôhoku Mathematical Journal, Bd. 2 veröffentlicht hat. Einer freundlichen Aufforderung des Herausgebers dieses Journals, Herrn T. Hayashi, folgend, erlaube ich mir den Weg, auf welchem ich zu Herrn Kakeyas Satz gelangte, hier darzulegen und einige Bemerkungen daran anzuknüpfen.
