Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der folgende kleine Ausflug in die Welt der Fabel ist keine Geschichte vom Mausen, sondern von Mäusen, die hier die Hauptpersonen sind. Ähnlich wie die Mathematik bestimmte Erscheinungen in geeigneten Koordinaten darstellt, ist es bequem, zu einer sogenannten Mausifizierung überzugehen. E. T. A. HOFFMANN hatte mit seinen „Lebensansichten des Katers Murr“ in anderem Zusammenhang Bahnbrechendes geleistet. Der Ort der Handlung ist Mausheim, eine mittelgroße Stadt mit berühmter historischer Tradition, zwar nicht Partnerstadt von Entenhausen, aber eingebettet in eine Kulturlandschaft, mit Seen,Wäldern, Obstbau und anderer landwirtschaftlicher Produktion, wo die Mäuse ein glückliches zu Hause haben: „Hier bin ich Maus, hier darf ich sein!“, wie es im Osterspaziergang für Mäuse zutreffend heißt. Es gibt sogar eine historische Mühle, wo noch Korn gemahlen wird, mit duftenden Mehlsäcken, die zu Exkursionen einladen.
