Abstract

The business environment is characterized by continuous change related to the acceleration of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), augmented reality (AR), digital twin, and blockchain. The traditional market has become outdated in meeting consumer needs and market demands. To improve the marketing concept, an analysis must be conducted on how companies need to adopt marketing strategies correlated with new technological paradigms. Therefore, digital transformation represents a strategic necessity at the marketing level. In this context, strategies must be personalized and supported by real-time analyzed data, so that customer needs are met as quickly as possible. AI analyzes consumer behavior at a granular level, allowing for advanced personalization of the processes involved in working with the consumer. IoT technologies allow brands to interact with users in real time, creating hyper-contextual experiences. Similarly, AR-based marketing offers opportunities in various fields, while blockchain provides trust in the consumer relationship, especially in loyalty campaigns. This chapter highlights the importance of building a data-driven marketing culture. This allows for strategic decision-making based on market predictive analytics. In parallel, AR and AI are redefining the way advertising campaigns are designed, customers’ perception of the brand, visual content, and brand narrative. The findings confirm the hypotheses that digital marketing is in a transitional phase where emerging technologies and their application require future strategic directions for development.
