Abstract
The objective of this study was to analyze the application of Industry 5.0 principles in a metalworking company dedicated to the production of aluminum products for export. To this end, a quantitative assessment was conducted using a face-to-face questionnaire survey addressed to 20 managers and employees from various departments within the organization. The questionnaire employed a 5-point Likert scale, focusing on four primary components of Industry 5.0: organizational resilience, sustainability, people-centered strategy, and digital maturity. The latter was assessed through the Open DMAT questionnaire. The findings suggest that the company exhibits an average degree of digital maturity. With respect to resilience, the study identified deficiencies in interdepartmental coordination. In terms of sustainability, there is a demonstrable commitment on the part of teams to sustainable operational practices. Finally, with respect to the people-centered strategy vector, there was a clear appreciation of employee participation, although investment in jobs for health and occupational comfort needs improvement.
