Abstract

Il sistema Binishell si è evoluto nel corso degli anni per rispondere meglio alla necessità di organizzare la vita domestica in spazi privi di elementi ortogonali e standardizzati. Questo capitolo esplora come i limiti concettuali e costruttivi del primo brevetto Binishell siano diventati una fonte di ispirazione per Bini, portando allo sviluppo di nuovi sistemi di automazione del processo costruttivo, come la Minishell e il Pack-Home, complementari alla Binishell e anch’essi basati sull’uso dell’aria compressa. Questa ricerca su nuovi sistemi costruttivi prosegue tuttora con il lavoro del figlio di Bini, Nicolò, che propone una versione contemporanea, a forma libera e non modulare del sistema Binishell, con l’obiettivo di affrontare le attuali problematiche di sostenibilità dell’ambiente costruito
