Abstract

Huawei is the corporation that most dramatically and evocatively embodies the intensifying rivalry between the United States and China, as well as the evolving landscape of grand strategy opportunities and priorities tied to this competition. The company stands at the center of a broader geopolitical and technological struggle, symbolizing a rebalancing of power along the dimensions of technology dominance, trade, and national security concerns. Adopting a pragmatic, semi-mercantilist approach within the information and communication technology sector, Huawei gradually expanded its techno-utopian ambitions.
