Abstract

This chapter presents the solutions to the exercises included in the previous chapters. It provides the answers to problems related to perfect competition, monopoly, monopolistic competition, oligopoly, contract theory, and competition policy. While the solutions are not developed step by step, they allow students to verify results, confirm their understanding, and identify potential errors. The chapter reinforces learning by demonstrating how abstract concepts translate into concrete problem-solving contexts. By reviewing the answers, students consolidate their knowledge of market structures, firm strategies, and regulatory implications. The explanations highlight common mistakes and clarify subtle distinctions between models, such as the differences between Cournot and Bertrand competition or the implications of various forms of price discrimination. This chapter thus serves as a practical complement to the theoretical material, ensuring that students not only learn the concepts but also acquire the analytical skills to apply them confidently across diverse scenarios in economics and business.
